Der Demographische Wandel in den Kommunen stand im Mittelpunkt eines Foresight-Prozesses der Zukunftsinitiative Rheinland-Pfalz (ZIRP). Kommunale Experten und engagierte BĂŒrger diskutierten mögliche Entwicklungen in den Gemeinden bis zum Jahr 2030 und Ideen fĂŒr eine erfolgreiche Gestaltung der VerĂ€nderungen. In einer landesweiten Informationskampagne wurden BĂŒrgermeister ĂŒber diese Ergebnisse informiert, um sie fĂŒr eine aktive Demographiepolitik zu gewinnen. Die Studie untersucht den Erfolg dieses Prozesses. Im Mittelpunkt der Untersuchung stehen die Nutzung von Demographie-Informationen durch die BĂŒrgermeister und deren Einstellungen zur Gestaltung des Demographischen Wandels. Aus den Untersuchungsergebnissen werden AnsĂ€tze fĂŒr kĂŒnftige Informationen zum Thema und fĂŒr weitere Foresight-Prozesse entwickelt.
