In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde die Sprühgranulation in der zirkulierenden Wirbelschicht an einem Modellsystem aus Saccharose-Partikeln als Bettmaterial und der Eindüsung einer wässrigen Saccharoselösung mit 60 Gew.-% Saccharose sowie Luft als Trocknungsmedium untersucht. Aufbauend auf den Versuchsergebnissen wurde ein Populationsbilanzmodell unter Berücksichtigung von lokalen Abriebs-/Bruch- und Granulations-/Agglomerations-Effekten in den verschiedenen charakteristischen Zonen des Granulators zur Beschreibung der wesentlichen Einflussgrößen abgeleitet. In the present work spray granulation in the circulating fluidized bed was examined. Therefore a model system consisting of sucrose particles as bed material, an aqueous sucrose solution with 60 wt.-% sucrose as sprayed liquid and air as drying gas was used.Based on the experimental results a population balance model, considering local breakage / attrition and agglomeration / granulation effects in different characteristic zones of the granulator which is capable to describe the main influencing parameters was derived.
