Der Sport hat in unserer Gesellschaft einen enormen Stellenwert eingenommen. Das Sportrecht bildet dabei nur den Oberbegriff der verschiedenen auf den Sport bezogenen staatlichen wie auch sportinternen Rechtsnormen. Die strafrechtliche Verantwortlichkeit des erwachsenen Sportlers rĂŒckt neuerdings durch DopingvorwĂŒrfe immer mehr in den Vordergrund. Die vorliegende Arbeit beleuchtet hingegen nicht nur das im Jahre 2015 neu geschaffene Anti-Doping-Gesetz, sondern auch die HintergrĂŒnde zu dieser Gesetzesneuschaffung anhand der bisherigen Rechtslage. Dabei sind auch sportmedizinische und sportsoziologische Aspekte eingeflossen, um ĂŒberhaupt Doping in seiner Begrifflichkeit und seinen Auswirkungen auf den menschlichen Körper verstehen zu können. Neben Doping im Sportbereich bilden sowohl Körperverletzungen bei den verschiedensten Sportarten als auch Betrug, vor allem im Bereich von Wettmanipulationen, Schwerpunkte dieser Arbeit. Nicht unberĂŒcksichtigt blieb dabei auch der Gesetzentwurf zum Sportwettbetrug.
