Die Analyse granularer Strömungsvorgänge in rotierenden Apparaten ist ein Bestandteil vieler Forschungsaktivitäten. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird zur Analyse der komplexen granularen Strömung im Wirbelschicht-Rotorgranulator ein neuartiges Messverfahren zur Einzelpartikelverfolgung, die Magnetische-Partikel-Detektierung eingesetzt. Insbesondere trägt die Kenntnis der Partikeldynamik wesentlich zum besseren Verständnis des Mischungsverhaltens in gescherten Feststoffsystemen bei. Anhand eines numerischen CFD-DEM-Modells werden die zeitlichen Partikelverschiebungen simuliert, die daraus ableitbaren Dispersions- und Konvektionskoeffizienten in Abhängigkeit der Betriebsparameter quantifiziert und mit den Ergebnissen aus experimentellen Mischungsuntersuchungen verglichen.The granular flow in rotating equipment exhibits complex phenomena and is a subject to a large amount of research. In this thesis, a novel non-intrusive particle tracking technique, the Magnetic-Particle-Tracking (MPT), is used to study the complex granular flow in a fluid-bed rotor processor. The knowledge of the particle dynamic is essential for the better understanding of the mixing patterns in sheared granular systems. Using a coupled CFD-DEM numerical approach, the displacement of each individual particle is tracked to quantify dispersion and drift coefficients. In addition, experimental studies are compared with the CFD-DEM simulations, regarding the powder blending efficiencies.
