Jahrhundert einer eingehenden literaturwissenschaftlichen Analyse unterzogen.Geklärt werden soll, welchem Text-Genre sie anhören, welche unterschiedlichen medialen Dimensionen Einfluss auf die Bedeutungsproduktion von Rap-Texten haben, u.a. Zudem wird das Verhältnis zwischen Text und Künstler/in neu ausgelotet. Während Rap-Texte bisher meist als, authentisches' Ausdrucksmittel eines dem Text vorgängigen, sprechenden selbst verstanden wurden, soll in den Analysendieses Bandes der Lektürefokus auf die Performativität von Rap-Texten gelegt werden. Herausgearbeitet wird, auf welche Weise die Texte mittels rhetorischer Strategien das selbst erst generieren.
