Resulta inquietante reflexionar y escribir sobre lo familiarmente conocido. Uno se percata de los sobreentendidos acumulados y de la dificultad para expresar a otros el bagaje acumulado en la trayectoria. Inquietud que obliga a pensar lo que hacemos para saber expresar lo que pensamos haciendo, quizás, plausible que otros quieran saberlo y pensarlo (de nuevo). Así, este pequeño texto se aventura a cartografiar algunos discursos y prácticas universitarias y profesionales alrededor de la Educación Social. El fin último no es otro que mostrar al lector las posibilidades que abre el paso de un pensamiento sistemático hasta un pensamiento problemático; o, si se quiere, del coraje de problematizar estos territorios sin menospreciar las herencias recibidas. Intento de pensamiento y escritura que asume que «nuestra herencia no está precedida por ningún testamento» y, en última instancia, se atreve a «pensar sin barandillas».
