El recorrido que proponemos con 50 de las películas más representativas de la filmografía escandinava pretende recorrer la historia del cine nórdico a través de filmes emblemáticos de los cinco países que nos atañen: Suecia, Dinamarca, Noruega, Islandia y Finlandia. Desde un punto de vista cronológico, partiremos de los años veinte del siglo XX y nos detendremos un siglo más tarde.
