Ett övergripande mål med den här boken är rättvisa, samma möjligheter, ökad jämlikhet samt bättre hälsa och välbefinnande för alla i vårt land.Efter en relativt grundlig bakgrundsbeskrivning lämnar jag förslag på hur vi tillsammans skall kunna skapa ett rättvisare Sverige där skattepengar används effektivt för att utveckla våra viktiga trygghetssystem, Skola, Vård och Omsorg.Svagheterna i systemen förklaras i boken som följden av ett antal mindre lyckade beslut under många år. Beslut som verkade vara rätt när de fattades men inte har fått önskat resultat.Samtidigt knyter jag i boken samman de samlade åtgärderna och visar hur dessa kan påverka miljö, missbruk, kriminalitet, psykisk hälsa och fysiskt välmående. För att göra de föreslagna förändringarna krävs naturligtvis både politiskt mod och insikt i vilka möjligheter dessa åtgärder faktiskt kan ge och det behövs en stark regering som kan uppvisa detta mod.Slutligen ger jag också förslag på hur vi kan angripa arbetslöshet och integration i ett samlat grepp. Och hur även detta hänger samman med de åtgärder som nämns ovan.
