La presente Festschrift, pensata dalla Facoltà di Teologia della Pontificia Università della Santa Croce per omaggiare il prof. B. Estrada nel suo 70° compleanno, raccoglie venti contributi in lingua inglese, spagnola e italiana, frutto del lavoro di studiosi appartenenti a diverse istituzioni accademiche internazionali. Il volume, articolato in due parti, è stato ideato seguendo le due principali aree di ricerca che hanno contrassegnato il lavoro accademico del prof. La Parte Seconda, dedicata all'epistolario paolino, consta di nove studi di D. A. Hagner, J. L. Caballero, F. Bianchini, A. Pitta, J. Chapa, E. González, J. M. Granados Rojas e G. De Virgilio.Giuseppe De Virgilio è docente di Esegesi del Nuovo Testamento e Teologia Biblica nella Facoltà di Teologia della Pontificia Università della Santa Croce. È membro dell'Associazione Biblica Italiana e della Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas. È nel comitato di redazione di «Rivista Biblica Italiana» e di «Vocazioni». Collabora con la Federazione Biblica Cattolica e scrive su diverse riviste nazionali ed estere. Ha in attivo diverse pubblicazioni ed ha curato alcune opere collettive, tra cui il Dizionario Biblico della Vocazione (Rogate, Roma 2007).
