Die landwirtschaftliche NutzflĂ€che nimmt rund die HĂ€lfte der FlĂ€che Deutschlands und der EuropĂ€ischen Union ein. Wie diese bewirtschaftet wird, hat entscheidenden Einfluss auf die BiodiversitĂ€t der Agrarlandschaft. Daher sind die Agrarpolitik und die Agrarförderung wichtige Faktoren fĂŒr die Erreichung der BiodiversitĂ€ts- und Umweltziele insgesamt.Der aktuelle Reformprozess der EU-Agrarpolitik der Jahre 2010â2013 hat zu einer intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit der Frage gefĂŒhrt, wie die landwirtschaftliche Nutzung so gesteuert werden kann, dass der Verlust der biologischen Vielfalt gestoppt und umgekehrt werden kann.Dazu wurde vom Bundesamt fĂŒr Naturschutz (BfN) ein Vorhaben initiiert, das eingehend die bisherige Gemeinsame Agrarpolitik (GAP) der EuropĂ€ischen Union analysiert und mögliche Politikoptionen fĂŒr die kĂŒnftige Ausgestaltung untersucht. Ein weiteres Vorhaben wurde zurThematik der Ăkologischen VorrangflĂ€chen in der kĂŒnftigen GAP durchgefĂŒhrt.
