Pat's love for her home is unwavering. Now in her twenties, she clings to the familiar and beloved aspects of her Silver Bush with all her heart. Change remains a formidable challenge for her, but its inevitability looms on the horizon as societal pressures to marry increase. Despite having many admirers eager to offer her a home elsewhere, Pat's attachment to Silver Bush makes her question whether she can ever truly embrace romance and the idea of leaving.
