Developed in nineteenth-century England from bulldog and terrier stock, the Bull Terrier is a powerful and famously good-natured companion. The Bull Terrier gathers the scattered early literature of the breed – its history, description, character and management – into a single readable volume.
These collected accounts range across the Bull Terrier's history and origins, its description and character, and the practical business of rearing, breeding and showing it, assembled from the works of the fanciers and authorities who knew the breed best.
