Der vorliegende Band will diesen Dialog befördern: Zu einem zentralen Begriff der Disziplin äußern sich je ein*e Kolleg*in aus der Geschichtsdidaktik und aus der zugehörigen Wissenschaftsdomäne. Neben viel Übereinstimmung zeichnen sich dabei immer auch deutliche Kontroversen ab – bisweilen schmerzhaft, aber stets bereichernd. Die andere Sicht auf liebgewonnene Überzeugungen regt an, sich zu hinterfragen und weiterzuentwickeln. "Geschichtsdidaktik im Dialog" ist das Ergebnis interdisziplinärer Verständigung und Auseinandersetzung und ermutigt dazu, diesen Prozess weiterzuführen.
