Contiene 117 Láminas histológicas rotuladas, con 762 fotomicrografías en color de gran calidad realizadas a aumentos progresivos de los distintos tejidos y órganos. Las Láminas histológicas sehan distribuido en dos grandes apartados: Histología General e Histología Especial, de acuerdo a la ordenación clásica seguida en los estudios de esta materia. Está diseñado para que durante las sesiones prácticas los alumnos dispongan de una Lámina histológica por cada preparación, reduciendo al mínimo las posibilidades de desorientación habituales en el laboratorio. Incluye unos Ejercicios de autoevaluación, compuestos por 140 fotomicrografías mudas, junto con las correspondientes Hojas de respuestas.
