Il convegno internazionale sul tema Educazione e Pace avuto luogo il 3 Ottobre 2015, si inserisce in un circuito di eventi organizzati dall'Associazione Montessori Brescia per contribuire alla valorizzazione e diffusione, in famiglia e nella scuole, del pensiero e del metodo pedagogico di Maria Montessori. Durante il Convegno si affronta l'importante tema del legame che unisce l'Educazione alla costruzione di un mondo di pace, si ripercorre la presenza del pensiero montessoriano nelle culture orientali, che notoriamente rappresentano la culla della pace, del dialogo e dell'interiorità. Vengono invitate a partecipare le realtà associative e scolastiche montessoriane non solo dall'Italia ma anche dall'estero per condividere il messaggio di pace che Maria Montessori ha consegnato all'umanità, questo grande patrimonio di pensiero che individua nel bambino la vera ricchezza sociale, l'unica speranza per un futuro di pace.
