About this book

Este libro es resultado de satisfacer una necesidad innata en el hombre: observar, interpretar y explicar su realidad circundante. Por ello el compromiso personal de compartir el paisaje que nos rodea como fuente de cultura ambiental y que ha tenido salida mediante la divulgación de lo observado e interpretado. Esta antología contiene 20 narrativas de divulgación ambiental, vivencias en la naturaleza que califico como "narrativa iconográfica con bibliografía", pues invariablemente se ilustra con fotografía parte de lo que se narra. Al final de cada texto proporciono la lista de libros consultados, gracias a los cuales fue posible una interpretación multidisciplinaria de cada caso. Por lo anterior, con esta obra pretendo alcanzar los siguientes objetivos: servir de inducción a estudiantes interesados en la investigación de la cultura; contribuir a la historia ambiental; y dar a conocer narrativas de divulgación tanto publicadas como inéditas.
