En los últimos años, la violencia de género —particularmente aquella que viven las mujeres y las niñas— parece incrementarse y tomar nuevas formas bajo el clima que impera actualmente en nuestro país. Esta problemática nacional acapara nuestra atención, y muchas veces tiende a minimizar la violencia que históricamente han vivido las mujeres por su condición de género.
