Interdisziplinäre Zugänge zur liturgischen Sprache

About this book

Mit Beiträgen von Johannes Block, Kena Cusanit, Alexander Deeg, Ferenc Herzig, Sonja Keller, Olaf Kramer, Samuel Lacher, Larissa Leonhard, Christian Metz, Michael Meyer-Blanck, David Plüss und Franziska Seeberg.[Promised. interdisciplinary approaches to liturgical language]Liturgical language beyond the sermon has so far hardly been a topic of practical theological discourse. To remedy this situation, the Evangelische Predigeranstalt (Tübingen) and the Center for Protestant Worship and Preaching Culture (Wittenberg) have undertaken an empirical investigation: Representatives from different non-theological contexts took a precise look at the liturgical language of a service celebrated under real conditions according to standard settings of the liturgy. Several practical theologians then questioned these perceptions to see what they could offer in terms of the language of the liturgy. Thus, from an interdisciplinary perspective, fundamental and innovative impulses for thinking about liturgical language are presented in equal measure.
