Concepts discussed in the classroom should not be limited to the classroom itself-it should also be applied in real life. Through the field study, aspiring teachers are able to apply and observe concepts they have learned in class in the actual school setting. These concepts need to be related and checked if they are still relevant in schools. To challenge the students, they are engaged in the field so that they have the oppurtunity to create their own action response to concerns and issues they may deal with in the future.
