This CWTS/LTS Soure Book has been prepared primarily in compliance with the National Service Training Program Act of 2001 (RA No. 9163). Its contents-based on various sources and reference materials, and evolved after a thorough review and consultation-are aligned with the core objectives of the Civic Welfare Training Service Curricular Program and the Literacy Training Service for NSTP-CWTS/LTS-1 as envisioned by the Commission on Higher Education/Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (CHED/TESDA). Although this source book has been undertaken with the noblest of intentions, and produced as best as we possibly could, there is no guarantee that it will instantly make the best leader out of you. Needless to say, your becoming efficient and effective civic welfare leaders of the community still depends on your innate sense of values and good judgment.
