Une part importante revient à la pathologie chromosomique et à ses conséquences sur l'élevage. Destiné avant tout aux chercheurs travaillant sur les animaux de ferme, aux étudiants en sciences biologiques, agronomiques et médecine vétérinaire, cet ouvrage intéressera aussi les instituts techniques, les techniciens des centres d'insémination artificielle et, plus généralement, tous ceux qui travaillent dans le milieu de l'élevage.
