Die vorliegende Masterarbeit untersucht das Finanzierungsverhalten privater Forstbetriebe vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen Kalamitäten. Die Arbeit betrachtet einerseits das praktisch-normative Verhalten anhand von Daten aus dem Betriebsvergleich Westphalen-Lippe und andererseits wird durch eine explorative Feldstudie das Finanzierungsverhalten von Forstbetrieben empirisch-realistisch erforscht und verglichen. Als Grundlage der Ergebnisse dient eine Online-Befragung von rund 300 privaten Forstbetrieben.In der Arbeit werden des Weiteren Themen wie die steuerfreie Rücklage nach § 3 des Forstschäden-Ausgleichsgesetzes und weitere betriebliche und politische Anpassungsmaßnahmen bei Finanzierungsproblemen zur Liquiditätssicherung diskutiert und aus den Einschätzungen der privaten Forstbetriebe bewertet.Diese Masterarbeit wurde mit dem Gerhard Speidel-Nachwuchspreis 2020 ausgezeichnet.
