Både før og efter den store fiskeriudstilling i 1912, hvor erhvervet første gang var ude med snøren og ville anerkendes. Større motorer og ny køleteknologi gav større fangster og frisk fisk hver dag – uafhængig af årstiden. Men dengang som nu er problemet det samme. Folk vil ikke spise fisk to gange om ugen.
