Og runerne havde allerede 800 år på bagen, da Harald Blåtand satte sit gigantiske monument i 965. De latinske bogstaver kom ind i det danske rige med kristendommen, men nordboerne holdt fast i runerne, og det gør vi faktisk endnu. Tænk blot på symbolet for Bluetooth på mobiltelefoner. Vi bruger også runer til tatoveringer, på fodboldtrøjer og i tvserier, så de sidste runer er ikke ristet endnu. Lisbeth M.
