Obgleich eine grundsätzliche Zustimmung und empirische Nachweise hinsichtlich der Notwendigkeit und Effektivität von intramuraler Bildungsarbeit existieren, hat sich ein einheitliches pädagogisches Hilfskonzept in der Forensischen Psychiatrie in Deutschland noch nicht etablieren können. Zudem fehlen ausführliche Erfahrungsberichte aus der Praxis. Dieses Handbuch des Bundesverbands Pädagogik in der Forensik (MRV) e. V. möchte ebendiese Lücke schließen und sichtbar machen, wie unterschiedlich sich die intramurale pädagogische Arbeit im MRV gestaltet.
