Bis heute sind unzählige Kulturgutverluste zu beklagen.Die Große National-Mutterloge "Zu den drei Weltkugeln" (3WK) hat jedoch nach 1945 mit dem Wiederaufbau ihrer Bibliothek begonnen. Ab 1965 kamen beispielsweise im Wege der Restitution große Teile des in der NS-Zeit geraubten Bestandes aus Marburg wieder zurück nach Berlin.Auch aus Nachlässen verstorbener Brüder konnte in der Folgezeit die Bibliothek erweitert werden, während öffentliche Bibliotheken und Archive in den 1990-er Jahren weitere identifizierte Bücher des alten 3WK-Bestandes restituierten.Die mit der Bibliothek bestens vertrauten Autoren kommen dankenswerterweise dem Bedürfnis nach, den heutigen Bibliotheksbestand durch einen systematischen Katalog nachzuweisen sowie interessierten Nutzerinnen und Nutzern bzw. der Forschung zugänglich zu machen.
