Pegos de surpresa, as autoridades ficam à mercê dos sequestradores. Para piorar a situação, descobrem que o projeto G7 da NASA fora fraldado e que as ogivas que deveriam ter explodido no espaço, realmente podem estar dentro do ônibus.
O que intriga as autoridades é a descoberta do verdadeiro motivo para o sequestro: a deportação de estrangeiros que vieram da Alemanha durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial para se refugiarem em nossa terra pacata e que após retornarem ao seu país, por consequência da extradição assinada por Getúlio Vargas, sentem na pele o sofrimento que milhares de pessoas passaram nos campos de concentração da Alemanha Nazista. Os campos de Lictemburg e Ravesbruck passam a ser cenário, destacando as câmeras de gás e os meios de torturas criados por médicos Nazistas.
Tudo isso e muito mais você vai encontrar nestas páginas: amor, paixão, perdas e o desejo de cumprirem o pacto realizado dentro da sede da Polícia Federal de Curitiba fazem com que, anos depois, eles venham a realizar a grande vingança.
O romance se passa em três países e envolve dois importantes presidentes que deixaram suas marcas registradas na história: Getúlio Vargas e Adolf Hitler. A fusão entre ficção e realidade tem como objetivo instigar a leitura reflexiva e prazerosa do leitor. A história não é real, mas os ambientes são autênticos e descritos de forma que o leitor possa imaginar que realmente se trata de realidade.
Espero que esta obra, além de ser mais um meio de divulgação do holocausto, sirva também para lembrarmos de todos aqueles que perderam suas vidas durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial.
