Esta obra analiza cómo las Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo –como organización– se fue configurando como un sujeto político, que a su vez articula una narrativa de la sangre en torno de la búsqueda y la identidad de las y los nietos apropiados por la dictadura. A tal fin, aborda un corpus conformado por tres publicaciones de la Asociación: Botín de guerra (1985); Identidad, despojo y restitución (1989) y La historia de Abuelas. 30 años de búsqueda (2007), y busca evidenciar –en una trayectoria de tres décadas de trabajo– la historicidad de su discurso, su gramática política y, en consecuencia, sus condiciones contingentes de irrupción y producción de sentido.
