Frühmobilisation wird bei IntensivpatientInnen zur Bewegungsförderung und -erhaltung so früh wie möglich nach deren Aufnahme auf der Intensivstation begonnen. Ein Verfahren, dessen Wirksamkeit wissenschaftlich belegt und eine in erster Linie pflegerische und physiotherapeutische Intervention ist. Das Werk liefert eine praktische Anleitung und dient zur Implementierung der Frühmobilisation im pflegerischen bzw. therapeutischen Alltag, beinhaltet die aktuelle Evidenz zur Frühmobilisation und Kriterien zum Ein- und Ausschluss von PatientInnen, einfache, erlernbare Assessments zur Einstufung der Mobilität und eine Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung zu Aufbau und Durchführung der Mobilisation.
