Por un lado, por su afán de conjugar el análisis empírico con una ambición teórica y reflexiva que se nutre del diálogo con otras disciplinas. Por otro lado, porque la tempora- lidad es uno de sus núcleos problemáticos centrales. Este libro, que fue elaborado por un grupo de autores que integra la red de historia conceptual "Iberconceptos", presenta un conjunto de estudios que documentan y examinan las relaciones entre política y temporalidad en el mundo iberoamericano haciendo foco en el impacto provocado por las revoluciones que lo transformaron a lo largo del siglo XIX.
