About this book

O que é real? Realidade e existência têm o mesmo significado? Qual a função do observador na materialidade das coisas? Como as relações influenciam as propriedades físicas da matéria? Tais perguntas sugerem uma reflexão sobre o que queremos dizer quando afirmamos que algo é real ou não. É nesse contexto que surge a motivação para escrever este livro, no qual compartilho minha compreensão sobre o assunto. A partir do conhecimento construído durante minha pesquisa, elaborei uma hipótese sobre o comportamento de partículas e como suas propriedades físicas determinam a materialidade das coisas. Para isso, opto em restringir essa materialidade ao contexto da existência do Universo ao invés de envolver a realidade dele. Nesta proposta, sugiro que a causa da manifestação de tais propriedades é a orientação da natureza em direção à formação de sistemas. Se houver algo de primordial no Universo não é uma partícula elementar ou bloco fundamental, mas, sim, a possibilidade de se relacionar. Considerando a tendência da mente à aquisição de hábitos, proponho que a disponibilidade para associar anteceda a existência dos elementos constituintes dessa associação. Tal estratégia pode contribuir como alternativa na compreensão sobre o comportamento de agrupamentos, desde partículas do mundo subatômico até aglomerados estelares. Dessa maneira, espero provocar o leitor no sentido de qualificar essa discussão em um ambiente onde a relação é a condição para a manutenção de nossa própria existência.
