En las últimas dos décadas, las Fuerzas Militares y de Policía en América Latina han tenido un importante proceso de transformación, tanto internamente como en su campo relacional, lo cual ha contribuido a fundamentar la percepción de que la región latinoamericana sea un centro de análisis respecto a las relaciones entre la democracia y la fuerza pública.Ante este contexto, el Grupo de Investigación en Seguridad y Defensa (GISDE) de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia presenta este producto de investigación, Las relaciones de las Fuerzas Militares y de Policía en América Latina, cuyo objetivo es analizar la configuración de las Fuerzas Militares y de Policía de Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Bolivia, México, Nicaragua y Venezuela, entre 1999-2020, para ver los efectos que estas transformaciones han tenido en el campo relacional de las Fuerzas en Latinoamérica.
