Adolf Hitler & Eva Braun

The Escape from Berlin

About this book

After a brief investigation in 1945, a British secret agent concluded that Hitler and Braun committed suicide together in the FĂźhrerbunker in Berlin shortly before the fall of the German capital and were cremated immediately afterwards, although he had no concrete evidence to support this hypothesis. Nevertheless, this has been the official version ever since. Between 1945 and 2009, however, testimony and evidence began to emerge that suggested otherwise. Luc Vanhixe, criminologist and retired senior-level officer of the Belgian Federal Police, conducted a seven-year modern police investigation into the death of this notorious couple, based on all the original data and traces. And as unlikely as it may sound, this investigation shows with absolute certainty that Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun did not die together in the Berlin FĂźhrerbunker on April 30, 1945.
