A volte, guardando al passato, crediamo di aver perduto per sempre alcuni avvenimenti vissuti. Non ci rendiamo conto che, in realtà, possiamo percorrere il tragitto a ritroso e ritrovarli. Lungo la strada, infatti, senza volerlo lasciamo cadere delle briciole. Sono i nostri pensieri, frutto di sentimenti ed emozioni che, se tradotti in parole, sanno produrre versi che talvolta sembrano persino dipinti. Lo si nota in questa raccolta, nella quale l'autore con poche pennellate riesce a far materializzare le scene come se fossero miniature o quadretti, e persino ad animarle. La poesia, del resto, non è una divisa ma un abito che veste la personalità di chi la scrive. Essa riesce a far volare chiunque si cimenti nel voler trasmettere agli altri i propri sentimenti, mettendo a nudo debolezze, limiti, talenti e capacità, tenendo bene a mente, come diceva Heidegger, che "nessuno può saltare oltre la propria ombra".
