La lucha del hombre contra la oscuridad es una de tantas que la humanidad ha enfrentado en su camino evolutivo.Pues bien, desde esa primera lumbre hasta los grandes avances tecnológicos y científicos de hoy nos hablan de una historia de aciertos y tropiezos.En el caso de Bogotá, hablan más que nunca de su transformación urbana, de sus cambios. Por esa razón, el Instituto Distrital de Patrimonio Cultural presentó en el Museo de Bogotá la exposición La energía en Bogotá, 111 años de historia, que recoge las experiencias vividas desde la iniciativa privada hasta la constitución de una empresa socialmente comprometida con la ciudad, y "que invita a la reflexión sobre la empresa, el desarrollo de la ciudad, de sus habitantes y su epopeya energética".
