Se crean instituciones que han perdurado hasta nuestros días, como la Real Academia Española y otras Academias, la Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País, la Biblioteca Real… Es un siglo que conviene conocer de la mano de sus protagonistas, y ese ha sido el esfuerzo del autor.
