Enquanto prisioneiros condenados à morte por sua raça, ideologia e/ou religião, milhares de judeus foram obrigados a cavar fundo em suas almas em busca de inspiração para conseguir criar e interpretar em meio a uma catástrofe. O alto potencial terapêutico da música interferiu, certamente, no comportamento dos prisioneiros condenados ao extermínio. As músicas, lembradas e/ou cantadas, alimentaram as memórias de situações passadas e, ao deixarem seus registros, garantiram a construção de novas memórias. Alguns conseguiram transformar o pulsar de seus corações machucados em armas de protesto mantendo uma espécie de baixo continuum. Tentando dizer o que não poderia ser dito, marcaram o ritmo de suas canções nas pautas do absurdo inspirando-se na realidade nua e crua de um genocídio.
