About this book

Este livro apresenta como tema a utilização do letramento da linguagem cinematográfica no Ensino de História como suporte para o desenvolvimento de uma aprendizagem histórica significativa. Trata-se de escrito que é fruto do aperfeiçoamento de nossas experiências com a prática educativa da análise de filmes nas aulas de História em busca não somente da aprendizagem dos temas presentes no currículo formal da disciplina, mas, também, de potencializar a recepção crítica de imagens audiovisuais presentes em filmes históricos e na cultura da mídia em geral para auxiliar os nossos alunos em seus processos de orientação temporal. De início foi realizado um levantamento e análise de bibliografia constituída a partir de temas como a presença da linguagem cinematográfica na cultura da mídia, o papel desse escopo cultural no desenvolvimento da consciência histórica e as potencialidades apresentadas pelo letramento da linguagem cinematográfica junto aos nossos discentes como mediador desses processos. O estudo foi desenvolvido no Colégio Agrícola Vidal de Negreiros (UFPB) e foi concluído com a formulação de uma proposta de Oficina de Linguagem cinematográfica e Ensino de História que oferecemos aos nossos colegas docentes interessados na promoção dessas operações de ensino e aprendizagem entre os seus alunos.
