Die in Schulen zu vermittelnden Sachverhalte werden im Wesentlichen bereits vor den Lehr-Lern-Situationen im Unterricht festgelegt. Lernräume und Methoden für selbst entdeckendes Lernen sowie eine reflexive Selbstbegegnung der Lernenden werden dabei eher selten eröffnet. "Bewegung als Lernprinzip" soll Kindern in Grundschulen ermöglichen, den eigenen Körper (wieder) zu entdecken und über seine vielfältigen spürbaren und symbolischen Bewegungsformen das Wissen der Welt zu erschließen. Theoretisch begründet und exemplarisch für die Fächer Deutsch, Mathematik und Sachkunde wird Bewegung als sinnstiftendes und wirksames Medium dargestellt, um Aufgabenformate zu lösen und weiterzuentwickeln. Damit ist die Fähigkeit verbunden, gemeinsam mit Anderen Projekte zu gestalten sowie eigene Potentiale zu entfalten.
