Of course . . . not everyone who heard Jesus' parables understood what they meant. Even the disciples at times had to ask Jesus to explain the point of a story that he had just told. Jesus was always willing to explain the meaning to them and any others who sought to understand the mysteries of God's kingdom. He does the same for like-minded seekers today.
