Den neuen Rechtsruck hingegen hĂ€lt Maaz nicht fĂŒr die eigentliche Krankheit unserer Gesellschaft. Vielmehr sieht er in ihm das Symptom einer Spaltung, die tiefer reicht als die herkömmlichen GegensĂ€tze von links und rechts, fortschrittlich und reaktionĂ€r, Ost und West, Traditionalismus und Globalismus. Wer etwas gegen die Vertiefung der Spaltung unternehmen will, darf sich nicht auf eine der beiden Seiten schlagen, sondern muss die darin zum Ausdruck kommende Psychodynamik untersuchen und verĂ€ndern.
