Im Press Camp auf dem Schloss Faber-Castell versuchten sie, das Unfassbare in Worte zu fassen, damit die Welt davon erfahren konnte. Dabei trafen im Mikrokosmos des Faber-Schlosses Exil-RĂŒckkehrer auf Überlebende des Holocaust, Kommunisten auf Vertreter westlicher Medienkonzerne, Frontberichterstatter auf extravagante Starreporter. Man schlief auf Feldbetten und begegnete sich in der Bar, im Salon, im Spielzimmer und im Kino, die die Alliierten in der globalen Herberge eingerichtet hatten. Und wĂ€hrend die Schlossbewohner in den Abgrund der Geschichte sahen, wĂ€hrend sie ĂŒber Schuld, SĂŒhne und Gerechtigkeit nachdachten, verĂ€nderten sich nicht nur sie, sondern auch die Art, wie sie schrieben.
