Organized into nine chapters, this book begins with an overview of the concept of a single-valued function, consisting of a rule, a domain, and a range. This text then describes an infinite sequence as an ordered set of elements that can be put into a one-to-one correspondence with the positive integers. Other chapters consider a normed linear space, which is complete if and only if every Cauchy sequence converges to an element in the space. This book discusses as well the convergence of an infinite series, which is determined by the convergence of the infinite sequence of partial sums. This book is a valuable resource for students.
