It is in casting aside these traits that every individual is perceived as being created in the image and likeness of our Creator who is Love. Love is the primordial characteristic of our true self. We are called to filter out all that is not of our true nature and begin tabula rasa--with a newness of vision in heart and mind--if we are to restore the dignity and worth of every human person and uphold the value of our created order.
