With the evolution and developments in science and understanding of geriatric dentistry, early prevention and treatment will reduce oral disease and aid in the management of systemic diseases. With increase in number of such patients in dentistry has resulted in the preferred use of alternatives like endodontics than extractions to improve the longevity of the natural dentition
