In postmodern contextual discourse, Chinese immigrants are called "Chinese among others." Concerning history and reality, the synchronicity and diachronicity of their social integration cannot be separated. In this book the authors show that overseas Chinese are in a constantly changing social structure, and the "unfinished work of modernity" should be more proactive in supporting cultural diversity in principle, and striving for better social integration.
