With parts of the town in Victorian build, Redhill provides both residents and visitors with an area steeped in history that is pleasant on the eye also. Reigate, situated almost immediately next door to Redhill, is an equally attractive market town at the foot of the North Downs. Colley Hill, around a mile north of the town, is the sixth tallest point in Surrey – Reigate Hill follows closely behind. Once based around railway expansion and the work of windmills, today Reigate is centred on Bell Street and High Street where shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, and Priory Park are situated nearby.
