Four Short Plays
About this book
This collection of Four Short Plays is the culmination of the creativity and determination of four talented students attending the Theatre Arts class at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico. The students were instructed in all aspects of theatre arts by Professor Eric R. Arpelar and these plays were created as part of their class assignments and the students then presented the plays in a world premier at the Connie Gotsch Theater at the end of the semester.
In Good Bye for Now, Maggie Clark presents us with a fateful night as one letter upsets the plans and lives of three friends. In The Dilemma, Mariah Romero lets us look in on how the actions of a "bridezilla" can affect friendships and relationships. In They Did What?, Rachael Culpepper entertains us with an absurd scenario of legal shenanigans. And in The Two-Faced Spies, Tristianne Dorenkamp shows us how an innocent meet-up between friends results in the arrest of spies from competing spy agencies.
These one-act plays are presented here not only for you to enjoy and to perform, but to celebrate the hard work of the students who created and presented them.
