About the Author
Amanda Belton is an IT manager specializing in agile and lean software development. Over the past 20 years, she has worked in small startup companies and large multinational organizations with responsibility for recruiting the people who become productive and happy members of her team. This experience working with in-house recruitment specialists as well as agencies has led her to explore the ways social media supports recruitment efforts to find and engage with the right people in a tight labor market. She is a self-admitted geek who has learned from her mistakes and is willing to share the wisdom that she's learned the hard way.

She also participated in launching the SAAS service in the UK, Sweden, and Germany. She has a Master's degree in Horticulture.
