Jahrhundert bei, während Philipp R. Rössner das Spannungsfeld zwischen Merkantilismus und ökonomischer Entwicklung am schottischen Beispiel im 18. Jahrhundert durchleuchtet. Claudio Marsilio fragt schließlich nach den europäischen Destinationen der Silberlieferungen aus Lateinamerika in der ersten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts. Der Bericht von Ulla Kypta aus dem Arbeitskreis für spätmittelalterliche Wirtschaftsgeschichte über dessen Tagung in Mannheim 2014 schließt den Band ab.
